SIA “Mangonita” is committed to protecting the privacy of website visitors, ticket purchasers, event visitors, business partners and newsletter recipients.

SIA “Mangonita” uses the names “Kimmel Kvartāls” and “Dzesētava” in its business activities and communications (jointly referred to below as “Kimmel Kvartāls, Dzesētava”).

This Privacy Policy explains which personal data Kimmel Kvartāls, Dzesētava obtains, the purposes for which it is used, the legal grounds for processing, the parties to whom it may be disclosed, the applicable retention periods and the rights of data subjects.

Ticket sales on the Website are provided through an embedded ticketing module operated by SIA “Biļešu Serviss PLG”. Biļešu Serviss processes ticket order and payment information as an independent data controller.

3. Personal data processed by Kimmel Kvartāls, Dzesētava

Depending on how the Website and services are used, SIA “Mangonita” may process:

• your first name and surname;
• email address and telephone number;
• booking or event information;
• the selected event date, number of participants, type of event, budget, required services and equipment;
• information and comments provided in free-text fields, as well as the content and history of communications;
• newsletter subscription, consent and unsubscribe information;
• IP address and information about the device and browser;
• pages visited, clicks, time of visit and referral source;
• cookie and advertising identifiers, where the relevant consent has been provided;
• photographs and video recordings made during events;
• information received from Biļešu Serviss about a ticket, order or purchaser where SIA “Mangonita” is the organiser of the relevant event and the information is required to provide essential event information, arrange a refund or perform other event-related obligations.

Information entered directly in the Biļešu Serviss module may include contact details, ticket order and payment information, user-account information and other data required by Biļešu Serviss. Such processing is governed by the Biļešu Serviss personal data processing principles.

Do not include sensitive personal data or other information that is unnecessary for the provision of the service in the comment fields of booking or contact forms.

4. Purposes and legal grounds for processing personal data

Operation and security of the Website

Kimmel Kvartāls, Dzesētava processes technical information to operate the Website, protect it against misuse, resolve technical issues and maintain the security of information systems.

The legal basis is the legitimate interest of SIA “Mangonita” in maintaining a secure and functional Website.

Processing event bookings and enquiries

If an event booking request is submitted or Kimmel Kvartāls, Dzesētava is contacted, the data is used to respond, prepare an offer, clarify event requirements and, where necessary, enter into or perform a contract.

The legal basis is taking steps at the request of the data subject before entering into a contract, performance of a contract and the legitimate interest of SIA “Mangonita” in providing customer service and retaining evidence of communications.

Ticket sales through the Biļešu Serviss module

Ticket sales on the Website are provided by SIA “Biļešu Serviss PLG” through an embedded ticketing module or script. Although the module is displayed on the Website, personal data entered during the ticket order process is transmitted directly to the Biļešu Serviss system.

As an independent data controller, SIA “Biļešu Serviss PLG” provides:

• technical processing of the ticket order;
• processing of the payment;
• order confirmation;
• ticket issuance and delivery;
• administration of the ticket and user account;
• customer support relating to the order, payment and ticket delivery.

SIA “Mangonita” does not receive or store full payment-card numbers or security codes.

Biļešu Serviss may disclose to SIA “Mangonita” or another event organiser personal data required to provide essential event information, arrange ticket exchanges or refunds, administer admission, respond to a customer request or perform other event-related obligations.

Where SIA “Mangonita” receives ticket-purchaser information as the event organiser, the legal basis is performance of the event contract, compliance with legal obligations and, where applicable, the legitimate interest of SIA “Mangonita” in providing customer service and protecting its legal interests.

Newsletters and special offers

If a person has subscribed to receive news, Kimmel Kvartāls, Dzesētava uses the email address to send information about events, ticket pre-sales, news and special offers.

The legal basis is consent. Consent is voluntary, and withholding it does not affect the ability to purchase tickets or use other services.

Consent may be withdrawn at any time through the unsubscribe link in a marketing email or by writing to marketings@kimmelkvartals.lv. Purchasing a ticket does not automatically subscribe the purchaser to newsletters.

Analytics and advertising performance measurement

With consent, Kimmel Kvartāls, Dzesētava may use Meta and other technologies identified on the Website to analyse Website use, measure advertising performance and create advertising audiences. The legal basis is consent; further information is available in the Cookie Policy.

Photographs and videos from events

Photography or filming may take place during public events. The material may be used to document the event and inform the public about the activities of Kimmel Kvartāls, Dzesētava on the Website and social media.

The processing of general views and event-atmosphere material may be based on the legitimate interest of SIA “Mangonita” in documenting and promoting events. Separate consent may be requested where necessary for individual portraits, interviews or advertising material in which a particular person is the principal subject.

To request removal from material published under the control of SIA “Mangonita”, write to marketings@kimmelkvartals.lv. Each request will be assessed individually.

5. Sources of personal data

Kimmel Kvartāls, Dzesētava mainly obtains personal data:

• directly from the data subject through a form or communication with Kimmel Kvartāls, Dzesētava;
• from SIA “Biļešu Serviss PLG” where SIA “Mangonita” is the organiser of the relevant event and the information is required for an event-related purpose;
• from other event organisers or service providers where an appropriate legal basis exists;
• automatically from the user’s device when the Website is visited;
• from cookie, analytics and advertising service providers where consent has been provided;
• from material created during event photography or filming.

6. Recipients of personal data

Personal data may be disclosed only to the extent required for the relevant purpose, including to:

• Website hosting, maintenance and security providers;
• email and newsletter distribution providers, including Mailchimp;
• SIA “Biļešu Serviss PLG” when the embedded ticketing module is used;
• the organiser of the event for which the ticket was purchased;
• payment service providers and financial institutions used by Biļešu Serviss;
• accounting, legal and other professional service providers;
• Meta where consent has been provided for the relevant technology;
• state and local government authorities where disclosure is required by law;
• other service providers processing data on behalf of SIA “Mangonita” and subject to confidentiality and data-protection obligations.

Kimmel Kvartāls, Dzesētava does not sell personal data to third parties.

7. Transfers outside the European Economic Area

Certain technology providers, including Meta or Mailchimp, may process personal data outside the European Economic Area. Where applicable, transfers are based on an adequacy decision of the European Commission or another safeguard recognised under the General Data Protection Regulation, such as standard contractual clauses.

8. Personal data retention periods

SIA “Mangonita” retains personal data only for as long as necessary for the relevant purpose:

• a newsletter recipient’s email address — until consent is withdrawn;
• evidence of consent — for as long as necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims;
• booking-request data — until the request has been processed and for a reasonable period after communications have ended;
• data connected with a concluded contract — during performance of the contract and thereafter in accordance with accounting requirements and applicable limitation periods;
• ticket-purchaser information received from Biļešu Serviss — only for as long as necessary to administer the event, provide information, process claims or refunds and comply with legal obligations;
• technical security logs — only for as long as required to identify and investigate security incidents;
• cookies — for the period specified in the Cookie Policy or cookie settings window;
• photographs and videos — while required for event documentation and communications, or until a justified deletion request is fulfilled.

After the applicable retention period, data is deleted or irreversibly anonymised unless continued retention is required by law.

9. Your rights

Subject to applicable data-protection law, you may have the right to:

• receive information about the processing of personal data;
• request access to personal data;
• request correction of inaccurate personal data;
• request deletion in certain circumstances;
• request restriction of processing;
• object to processing based on legitimate interests;
• object to direct marketing at any time;
• withdraw consent previously given;
• receive personal data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format in certain circumstances;
• lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

To exercise rights relating to processing by SIA “Mangonita”, write to marketings@kimmelkvartals.lv. Identity may need to be verified before a request is fulfilled. A response will be provided without undue delay and usually no later than one month after receipt.

10. Right to lodge a complaint

If personal data is believed to be processed unlawfully or otherwise improperly, contact the relevant data controller first.

A complaint may also be lodged with the Data State Inspectorate of Latvia, Elijas iela 17, Riga, LV-1050, Latvia, at www.dvi.gov.lv.

11. Data security

Kimmel Kvartāls, Dzesētava uses proportionate technical and organisational security measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, disclosure, loss, alteration or destruction.

Access to personal data is granted only to employees and service providers who require it to perform their duties or the relevant service. The Biļešu Serviss system is administered and protected by SIA “Biļešu Serviss PLG”.

12. Automated decisions

SIA “Mangonita” does not make decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects. With consent, advertising providers may use cookie information to create and personalise advertising audiences.

13. Changes to the Privacy Policy

Kimmel Kvartāls, Dzesētava may update this Privacy Policy if services, personal-data processing practices, ticketing integrations or applicable requirements change.
